Irish Hockey: "PLAYERS ONLY"

All Players must register 45 minutes before their 1st game to fill out all of the necessary paperwork relating to their participation in the Irish American Ice Hockey Classic: Boston. After each individual player has registered, each player will receive at time of check-in a Pro Players welcoming Bag complete with Pro quality game jerseys, matching tournament socks, IrishHockey hats, tee shirts, Irish American Hockey Association towels and various gifts from our sponsors and your friends at Irish Hockey. We have featured games throughout the 4 day tournament including many high profile teams such as Dropkick Murphys, ESPN Radio Montreal (PJ Stock), WAAF Radio (Greg Hill and Lyndon Byers), BU Alumni Hockey, WestPoint as well as the Boston Bruins Alumni vs. The Irish American All-Stars on Saturday evening. Please note that Hurricane O’Reilly’s (located directly across from the Boston Garden) will be the Host Facility for the Irish American Ice Hockey Classic: Boston and will have designated “VIP”, “Sponsor” and “Players ONLY” rooms on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We’ll be hosting private and VIP parties throughout the event and each player will need to show their Irish American Ice Hockey Classic: Boston lanyard to gain access to these events. All Irish American Ice Hockey Classic: Boston Players will have a full complimentary buffet available all day on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday noon time at Hurricane O’Reilly’s (150 Canal St.) across from the Boston Garden. With Dropkick Murphys and the Bunker Hill Bag Pipe Band entered as playing teams, there will be plenty of entertainment kicking off shortly after each game. The Irish American Ice Hockey Classic: Boston 2009 will have a hospitality section set up inside Hurricane O’Reilly’s with updating standings, features on games as well ongoing events surrounding the Irish Classic. Please note that NESN will be filming games throughout the tournament for pieces on the ever popular “Rubber Biscuit” hosted by Rob Simpson. So come into Boston this week-end, catch some great hockey and join us at Hurricane O’Reilly’s for some Craic and songs to be sung in old fashion Irish Hockey Traditions.
